Located on a very steep slope with magnificent views towards the West, the existing stand was subdivided into three smaller stands to house three Two-bedroom houses. The linear and steeply sloped site facilitated a stepped house with carport on the lower ground floor and living space above on the upper ground floor, taking further advantage of the views.
The deep set veranda protects the building from the harsh sun and simultaneously provide a space for outdoor living. A conscious decision was made to embrace a pared back and modern aesthetic, celebrating the structural materials chosen and reducing the overall cost of the development.
